Love struck: did I just meet my future husband?

Vignette – Love Struck Teen

So I was walking to class the other day and it was really cold. Like so cold that you can’t even hold your books because your fingers hurt kind of cold. So anyway, I was walking, thinking about class and how boring it was going to be and how much work I had to get done when he literally ran into me. Yes that’s right, ran into me. I glanced up to see who in their right mind would be running outside when it was pretty much like negative a million degrees and would be stupid enough to run into me on my way to class. Those eyes though, in their beautiful emerald clarity would have stopped me in my tracks had he not run into me.

“Oh sorry”, he had said. Oh my god, that voice. Where has this guy been my whole life? He was quite taller than me, which is obviously good. And like I said those green eyes were gorgeous! Every part of his perfect body was chiseled and not in the overly buff body builder way, but in the, “Hey I am athletic and pretty much good at everything I do” kind of way. He honestly looked like he cared that he ran into me, and wanted to check and make sure I was alright. Of course I was alright! I just met my future husband, and although he didn’t know it, we were destined to be together forever. What should I have said though, like really anything short of “We were meant to be together forever” just doesn’t seem to cut it. I am really nervous though, like really am I supposed to talk to him ever? Like what should I say? How am I supposed to know if he even remembers running into me? What if I have just let the love of my life slip away because I was too scared to even talk to him. I am so confused.
